Hate to see this journal come to an end. It’s been a mainstay of my evenings for quite a while now. I’m looking forward to more adventures in the new journal. My armchair is not ready to stop traveling !
2 years agoHey, I’m not supposed to laugh, it makes my nose bleed a little bit!
2 years agoSounds like the perfect combo. As it happens she has a burgundy shirt on at the moment so we’re all set. Now if the doctor’s office will just come through.
2 years agoPlease get that nose healed up soon. In the meantime, since Scott took the time to mention how the lime green clamp clashed with your blood-stained fuchsia shirt, and since I am your professional color consultant, please allow me to offer some advice. I recommend a deep burgundy shirt and carnation pink nose clamp ensemble for your next hospital visit. (Which I hope never happens, of course.)
2 years agoThanks. I knew it is important to my mental physical well being to be outdoors hiking and bicycling but I didn’t realize how much. I’m sure excited about the plans to meet up with you, Suzanne and Yanos!
2 years agoI can’t wait!
2 years agoThanks. I been stuck inside and not been able to do much because Im not supposed to bend over. I can’t wait to get outside again although I’ll have to take it slow on physical activity at first.
2 years agoI hope Rachael feels better soon. We need to get back to those pictures of her on her bike off in the far distance, leaving you in her dust, not pictures in a hospital bed!
2 years agoOh no(se)! I hope things quickly improve and you’re soon back to your active self.
2 years agoSo sorry, what a bummer! Get well soon! That was no fun, I'm sure.
2 years agoI can't believe that Scott didn't request a different color nose clamp.
Also, I think you would be better off watching a more uplifting series on TV. What about the Olympics!
Also, it was a good move to get your car out of that parking lot in the middle of the night. Maybe on some level Rachael was protecting the car.
This does not look like fun. I'm sorry, Rachael. I hope your nose recovers quickly now.
2 years agoIt sure was lucky!
2 years agoI hope that nose settles down soon so Rachael can be out and about again. I'm glad you parked across the street, that was a good move.

I suspect I’ll find something to spout off about soon enough. It’s been a slow news week for both of us. Rachael’s been housebound from her surgery, and I’ve been intentionally getting out of shape in solidarity with her. It looks like we’ll revert to the mean soon enough though.
