You are absolutely right. The past week in particular has been kind of rough here. It sure would be fun to have coffee with you down there.

All the way to Eugene! A long ways, but I’ll bet you were relieved to find any place at all. Such an ordeal, for you as well as countless others. It’s so awful about those downed oak trees.

Yet another gem for the collection, from the Cycle365 Poet Laureate.

I’m thinking you’re not getting enough sun in your life, Mr. Lellman. Maybe we should have our next coffee date down here rather than in your icy back yard.

I believe the beautiful desert sings,
In the vicinity of Borrego Springs.
The awesome views
Are all the news
They're the views of desert kings.

That doesn't look like much fun to ride.

We spent a couple nights in Eugene (closest place with hotel availability!!!)

We're back in Silverton and power came back on this afternoon.

Look forward to catching back up with your blog. :0)

Love the wading crane video! And always wonderful to hear them, too.

So glad that lady was out to help keep the dog from doing any damage.

Hats off to the purple loo brigade ..
More fun than Rose Festival Parade!
They're lined up on the truck
Squeaky clean, free of muck
An event for a tall lemonade!

That's a great photo..gobsmacking. So colourful too, love to go back there one day. Your photos must be driving your snow bound compatriots insanely jealous.
