2 years agoWell, I wish you fine weather if you ever revisit the Coast. The old adage is - if it's fine on the West Coast of the South Island, the rest of the country will be having terrible weather. And that's so true: rainstorms, slips and evacuations right now in the North Island.
2 years agoSuch incredible color. We’re among the many who have never seen this. We crossed over the pass from Wanaka to Haast but then just went north. Maybe some year.

I have great memories of riding along the Hawea river trail into Wanaka. At one point we stopped for a rest I jumped in the river for a quick swim, spandex and all. I’m very much enjoying your journal.
