Wow! That would be an impressive sight to see.
3 years agoMate, I bet you really miss your dogs every time you open up to the home page of your journal - they are beauties!
3 years agoHey Vince, that burger looks even better than the Pizza 😋😋!
Heading off on my own Oz tour soon - where did you get your flag pole from?
Thank you Graham but I've turned east heading for the coast now so I won't catch him.
It would have been nice as I'm having some trouble with my belt today.
Cheers
Thanks heaps Bill. I concur with your ID. cheers

Might be Peron's tree frog.

Hard to tell for sure, but distribution and according to their description and some photos it seems to fit.
Hi Vince,
If you ride through Guyra, see if you can find David Mills.
Bike shop owner, tireless rail trail advocate and very knowledgeable of the local cycle touring routes.
Dave is one of the organisers of Tour d Rocks. They ride from Armidale to the coast.
Wow. I could have used a push going up the hills too.
3 years agoHi Vince,
I see you’ve reached the mighty Moonbi Ranges. They are steep.
The son of one of my old Tamworth work mates used to have a tow truck service at Bendemeer where he’d push semi trailers up the range.
Back in the day when semis didn’t have 600+ horse power motors like they do nowadays.
All the best for the ascent to Armidale.
Thank you cool uncle. Rest easy and I'll do a few more kms for you.
3 years agoHi Dave, thank you for your suggestion. I had a quick look this morning for Hawthorn Road and I couldn't find it? And there was no parallel road on my Hema map either.
The highway wasn't too bad anyway.
Cheers
Thank you Rachel👍🏻
3 years agoHi Andrew, the pizza was awesome. It was vegetarian. The only thing on the pub menu that had vegetables.
I ate it all except for one piece.
Hey Vince, I finally remembered to check your progress when I didn't have to be somewhere else shortly after. So I have spent a relaxing non-tiring 842km travelling with you. It's great to see your coping well, getting fitter and taking it all in and within yourself. Every hill is a victory Yeh!
