Hi Dave,
Congrats on your ride across Oz!
There are definitely less international people in the campgrounds and more Aussies. I haven't had trouble finding a spot to camp so maybe they are quieter than usual? It's a bit hard for me to judge.
I find the camp kitchen are social places. I think being on the bike is more of a conversation starter. People come up to me every day, at servos, shops, in the street.
I agree Vince, a beautiful photo
3 years agoOnly tiny spiders looks like they were out of focus a bit were you shaking when yo took the pic ? Watch out for the big ones up the cape xxx

Yep I would’ve turned my bike around as well, never mind the steps
Thanks for the camp kitchen photo. When we rode across Oz in 2010 we found them great places to connect with fellow travelers. Perhaps Covid has reduced traveler numbers? Are you finding the kitchens social places?

3 years agoAlways amazes me how they sit with their knees bent forward rather than back. Are they double jointed?

I'm not keen to see spiders that are any bigger. Thank you Lindsay!
