Hi Bill,
Thank you for the link.
I definitely got a wedgy today. Not a great pic, but I was able to positively ID it while it was flying.
I really like the nature element of this ride. That probably has the highest interest for me. It makes it more enjoying for me rather.
Cheers
Vince
Hi Bill,
Thank you kindly.
That doesn't look like enough tucker for you hahahahaha
3 years agoYou'll see alot of cattle on the road from now on especially in the NT.
3 years agoWhat a lovely surprise! Especially in the middle of nowhere.
3 years agoLove these sort of tables, haven’t seen one suspended though. Would you have to take care with your drink or was it fairly stable?
3 years agoLots of great pics, Vince. Very impressed with how far you rode. The cockatoos always reminds me of a spot we had in WA near Harvey, they seem to be squawking consequently. Still it was a great spot.
3 years agoLooks like you might have gotten your wedge-tailed eagle picture... but not quite enough detail to be positive.

Straw necked ibis. Quality shot!

I am quite impressed by your nature pictures! Also how well you supply correct IDs with links to info!
Not many cycle tourists seem to even notice nature, let alone take pictures.
Hi Mike,
Thank you for your help. I did as you said and it still didn't move as freely as I hoped so it must be the cables. There was grease and it looked fine.
Thanks
Vince
Vince, the EX box should have grease in it.
Mike
Hi Vince
If you unscrew the thumb screw and remove the EX box from the hub the shifter should move freely. If not you need to check the cables. AFAICR you need the T20 torx to get into the EX box.
Good luck!
Mike
Thank you Bill.
It's a lot easier when the subjects stay still for the pic.
I've only recently discovered Google Lense and that has been useful sometimes with IDs.
Great macro! Agreed with your ID. You are doing great with nature shots and IDs!
