Thank you for replying, Scott. I have the GoPro Hero 9. The trip will be van supported, so I’m planning on dragging my laptop along (on the last trip I only had my iPhone and quickly ran out of space on it). I think I may also need an external drive - those videos are huge.

2 years agoFwiw, I’ve found that RidewithGPS consistently underestimates grades in the route planner. When I compare my rides with the routes, it’s sometimes hard to believe it’s the same ride.

2 years agoI thought so to. I should have bothered to get a better shot. I didn’t have my camera with me and shot it with the iPad.
2 years agoReally. I wouldn’t want that job. Even funnier, I nearly took a photo of a truck just as large trying to pull into the street from an alley a half block earlier. We had to squeeze against the wall and watch our toes.
2 years agoA nice outcome, but I was frustrated at the moment. I’d been waiting impatiently for a slow-moving car to pass Rachael and disappear so I could zoom in and get a photo of her leaving the fens. The instance he disappeared, the tractor pulled out of hiding and bombed the shot.

"I'd rather be riding my bicycle," perhaps?
Very cool design!

2 years agoWow, I love this.
2 years agoYOW! Tht change in topography is dramatic, and I can see why it came as a rude surprise. (Bearing in mind that when viewed on a phone in portrait mode the distance scale is very compressed but the vertical scale is not...)
2 years agoToo funny! Nice use of perspective...
