I so appreciate shade-seeking behavior!
Wish I'd been there to see this.
Oh golly, it's a classic high road/low road choice. Take them both is an answer I hadn't considered!
2 years agoI loved all of the photos both of you took today. What an amazingly beautiful landscape! The best part--no view blockers on those hills.
2 years agoYowza.
2 years agoI've seen phone boxes turned into small libraries and home for gnomes, but not this.

2 years agoI learnt to drive in a similar landscape, and my instructor did spend quite a lot of time on Sheep Avoidance Protocol (if I recall correctly: sheep have the right of way! I’m not sure if they’ve all read the Highway Code, though…)
2 years agoYou saw some great countryside and the photos are fab.
2 years agoYes, it was very unnerving but now I’m being a lot more careful and doing more walks. I’m definitely glad I had the camera on.
2 years agoThanks for the tip. We haven’t experimented with either of these and will check them out.
2 years agoI’ve seen bottles of it in coolers and have been tempted just by the name - another label named for the likes of me. I’ll check it out.
2 years agoHave you tried the Black Sheep beer yet? I think you'll approve.
2 years agoPlotaroute and Garmin connect are two other routing options you could look into. Plotaroute overestimates election gain, but may do well for examining routing options. Garmin connect seems more accurate for elevation estimates but isn’t quite as good about showing actual cycle paths. The best mapping option may actually be the mapping service through Strava, but they charge for that now.
2 years agoDefinitely interesting. You don't see the Canadian flag very often in Europe.
