Scott, sorry to learn of the death of your mom. In some ways it is fitting to be in England during the Queen’s Royal send off. For you, saluting your mom’s well lived long life too.

She was gorgeous! Remember her like this. I am so sad for your loss, but happy that your Mom is no longer subject to the humiliations of her dementia. I went through the same with my Mom and my heart aches for you.

She was amazing, wasn’t she. This picture really hit all the emotions for me. I was born the year she became Queen, and still, for some unknown reason, have the commemorative baby dishes my Mom bought.

I really enjoyed reading about your walk, and great pictures. Though I think my favorite is the underwear in the window. Gave me a laugh.

Must be a special experience to be in England at this time in history. We are all moved by the Queen’s passing, but to be there, to experience it viscerally with the country has to be amazing.

Well, it has to be completed first, of course. Who wants to see an intermediate report?

Scott, when can we expect the final report from this project? The world is waiting!

Sorry to hear your mother passed away, Scott. It is comforting to know she led a long and full life.

It is always hard to lose a parent, as we both know. However, it is comforting that at least they had a good, long lifespan and hopefully a peacefuln end.

More than alright. It took me awhile and some growing up to realize what a gift my upbringing was.

Sorry about your mother, Scott. She lived a long life, and did all right by you I think.
