I've played piano since I was a kid and fell in love with pipe organs when I was in college. I took lessons there and that love has continued since then. Since I could never have a house big enough for a monster like the one in the church, I discovered reed (pump) organs. From one that hobby mushroomed for both of us and I now have 4. (I had many more when we lived in a house and not a condo). Don would do the restorations and I would play them. I can only bring one with me to Arizona which is a shame. I've been able to play true pipe organs here and there which I always enjoy but I'm not too good with the pedals!

There was a M*A*S*H episode that centered around a tontine. Col. Potter was the final survivor.

"And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet
When the wind comes right behind the rain."

Not that there's any rain imminent in the tableau shown here, but that was the first thing that came to mind.

I’m still annoyed that we didn’t find a way to fit this in last month when we were about six miles from Scarborough.
