Keith Adams commented on To Ludlow

"... some exciting sheep destination."

A phrase I don't recall having ever encountered before. :)

Can you rig and stream a drogue chute as a supplemental brake?

"We're going very slowly."

Good idea, Team Anderson. Live to ride another day.

That’s a funny angle on it. I wonder if the structure was built in sections and part of it slumped.

Love that you caught at least a bit of the unusual sheep sound!

What a day. Hope you were able to get some good rest.

I can hear the road calling, "Pedal onward, Team Anderson! Imagine what I (the road) have in store for you!"

Wow! It's like they (the windows) want to be on the other side of the barn.

I had forgotten Cadfael’s abbey was here. Steve Grampy reminded me of that also. It’s too bad. If I’d remembered I woiuld have found the time to make it over there.

Thanks! I think I must have been able to see them from the other side on today’s ride to Ludlow. I’ll have to go back and look at the photos again.

The Jones clan thanks you for the shout-out. I’m pretty Irish several generations back, but not surprising that the name migrated from Wales. It’s the 4th most common surname in the US, Wikipedia tells us.

Oh, yes. Thanks for spotting that. I’d meant to look up research cattle myself. Neat!

Made me look up "neat catte"! From what I understand it's just an assortment of cattle that excluded milking cows(?)

Also .. this makes me want to say to someone, "Get your unladen ass over here!" ... Or .. "Get your ass over here .. laden or unladen!"
