Tricky. Four if you mean actual bikes, three if you mean bikes being ridden.

We’ve mainly been using weather.com but also using yr.no. Yr.no is better. Definitely carry some cash and it’s good to have change at the laundromat but in France you usually could use credit card or bills. Have a great trip!

Yes the plan still to cycle Lyon to Arles via Annecy & Grenoble and a few of your other stops.
We're flying back early October. I will keep up with your posts to see where you get to!
Let me know about which weather apps worked best for you? Also another question as to whether we will need cash at all? Do laundries still use coins?

Looking at that well documented route plan, I anticipated your view. My comment about you being sad was entirely tongue in cheek!

Glad you asked and prompted me to look it up. 1762. Also prompted me to add another photo, of the grove of yew trees bordering the cemetery.

I did notice it on the way down but I’d already spent my “you’re holding up the team for another damn photo” budget for the day. Taking my time through here was one of my reasons for coming back this way.

Certainly a ride to remember - should go in the Team Anderson Bushwhacking Hall of Fame

I’m sure she’ll be disappointed 😉

Interesting church and of course a cemetery. Do you know the age?

I windered if you spotted this on the way down... or maybe you were speeding! It's pretty old.

Thanks! We don’t have this fern back home. There’s a cousin, the American Hart’s tongue, but it’s listed as endangered and only found in a few states back east. Beautiful plant.
