Very astute, Mr B. We call these signs fingerposts, so there's definitely a cryptic link here which works at a subconscious level. I'm going to spend the rest of the evening humming Shirley Bassey tunes now... 😆

3 weeks agoYes, I'm never sure whether it's his club, or his anatomy, that is more frightening. Either way, he's enough to send the unsuspecting cyclist into a hedge!
3 weeks ago"We've a far more relaxed 90 mile trip planned back the way we came." I read the words, but my brain doesn't register them. The 159 miles wasn't relaxing enough? Or, maybe your definition of "relaxed" and my definition vary somewhat. :-)

3 weeks agoI wouldn't disagree with you for a moment, Kelly, but I might need sunshine for ice cream. Cross your fingers, and if the clouds disperse, I shall go gelato hunting in your honour!
4 weeks agoA cycling challenge is always fun. I will wait to see how yours go.
I think a good cycling day includes ice cream as well as cake. With that mileage, you can indulge in both!
