I never officially met the neighbors except to say Hi when I saw them, but what a sad thing.

6 years agoYour plant is an equisetum or horsetail. Some varieties are considered ornamental; others are considered weeds.

6 years agoLol, my first thought was chewing gum, but maybe something like epoxy would do some good.
I'll definitely try to avoid pot holes and rumble strips.
Not good at all. Can you hit with some compound to slow the spread of the crack in the meantime?
6 years agoWe just switched over from putting our latest entries at the bottom of the blog to putting the latest entries at the top. This means the top entry now has the highest total milage.
We made this change when we realized that after a couple of months you would need to scroll down through hundreds of entries to see the newest entries.
OK, I give up. Why do your Total Miles count down?

Hard to believe this wheel survive so long with this cracks! no crush! i guess you got experience after many broken wheels and spokes and no bad lessons. keep that way!
