Harold Miller commented on a photo in Day 7: Coba Cenotes

Hey Steve, Did not know you were subject to panic attacks due to height, even after our 74 years together. We get it, though, since we saw a video last week of a guide crossing a suspension bridge in Switzerland. Francine and I both blurted "not for me" simultaneously.

Side issue: I had to redirect e-mail to gmail since Shaw was being kicked back for the last 2 days. Harold

Grasshopper is absolutely it for a green bus. I've always thought of these as "bug buses" because of the antenna-like mirrors.

Great-tailed grackle, to be precise. That’s one! I’m sorry to say though that I’ll have to charge a per bird fee for stealing my idea.

Looks like maybe a mourning dove. After a bit of searching, lt seems to be possible. https://ebird.org/camerica/species/moudov/MX-YUC-096

Thanks for sharing another entertaining adventure, Steve and Dodie! Also, thanks for the cenote photos. They bring back fond memories for Sue and I. The first sight of them bring instant refreshing gratification!

Yeah, they really were that loud!

Abarrotes is just groceries. No doubt about it. How about my new advanced phrase: " pegamento para parche de bicicleta"!

Were the birds as crazy loud in person as they were in the recording? Seemed like you'd have to raise your voice to be heard over them!

What a day! It's a good thing you are experienced tourists and can roll with the punches.

We passed three closed bike shops at Playa early this morning! But there is one coming up in Tulum!
