Not enough legs. A good example of the power of imagination over reality.
2 years agoI think you are right. I actually thought it was a shrew when I first saw it, even though I had never seen a shrew before nor had any idea what one looked like. Dea was the one who said mole. Now I looked up pictures of shrews I’m almost certain that’s what it was.

2 years agoWe’re getting some hot weather in Great Britain and steep climbs but unfortunately I can’t talk my husband into pulling me in a trailer. Lucky Kevin, he even gets a fan!

In recognition of you and Dea introducing your son to bicycle touring at such an early age, for reducing your normal cycling pace to accommodate him, and for putting his wants and needs above your own, I hereby nominate you guys for the "Parents of the Year" award.
2 years agoThirty-seven years ago, my wife and I took our one-month-old son on a 1,000 mile camping trip for a few days. As far as I could tell, he loved it. That trip was via automobile though. I did not know about bike touring back then.
