I'd chalk that up as bad design.

I figured at least one can hope!

Possibly, but it seems unlikely. The camera really didn’t get wet at all. I’ll try your suggestion though, which is something that hadn’t occurred to me.

Got moisture inside maybe? Pull battery and dessicate with battery door open might fix it if so.

Or moisture could have fried the electronics like my first digital about a week after I got it. Took over 5 months to get it back from the mfgr for repairs, but thankfully I had paid for a repair warranty when I got it, but still it was a really long time.

Wow. It sure looks like an open door!

I was kinda joking about toxic. Seems greasy, salty potato is on the menu so often... Not toxic, but a steady diet might kill a person.

Most folks would not consider eating potato plants, and if they did, they would not enjoy the flavor. I suspect such may have prevented many "natural foods" types from poisoning themselves to death. :-)

No worries. I wasn’t planning on wading out and eating any. I just like to look.

We’re both on our second BF’s. We got the first in 2009, and the 2nd in 2018. I have around 30 thousand miles on mine (nearly all in Europe), and Rachael’s probably got more than that because she rides it more when we’re home. I almost exclusively use the Rodriguez when we’re home or have the car with us.

did you purchase both of your Bike Fridays the same year? For some reason I think you've owned BF's before? How many miles do you suppose you have on them? I'm sure you've heard my often repeated story of when your bike is paid for - when you've bicycled a mile for every dollar you spent, then it is paid for, and you are allowed to buy a new bicycle, guilt free!

What good news! Hope the doc has good news next week, too.

Toxic! Well, the tops are, but the tubers have such low levels of solanine they are ok to eat. "Dose makes the poison."

Of course, since you already mentioned it. I took it for a kick stand, which of course you wouldn't want.
