I've heard there was a time when this was common. The solution was to put a piece of cardboard in your shoe. Might not work too well in damp conditions. :^)

3 months agoAnd a “tell tale” of sorts on the bag next to your bikes..It reads” poo-t”, but it actually says “food”, upside down. Sort of like your camera direction for us to envision at the bottom of the stairs.. And, best part? Your bikes did not go “poof”..

3 months agoI hear ya. The next four years will tell how far he'll get. I don't envy you both returning home. Hopefully, the stop fails in the system and your constitution will slow him down enough!

3 months agoJust catching up on yard work? I'm looking forward to the day when I follow in your footsteps, sell the house, and become a vagabond. At least where I lived a few years ago I was surrounded by evergreens. Now living with cottonwoods I've become empathetic to the pain of Sisyphus.
