Fungi are scary!
I remember a road exactly like this last year. It was so beautiful and low traffic, but when a car did come along there really was no place to go so I know exactly what you mean. In our case as we squeezed up to the plane trees when a car approached there was also a massive root bump in the asphalt. We were grateful for the off season as well.
6 months agoIt was too bad. Also the clock tower, which has some interesting medieval murals inside. Also a vintage bike museum of all things, closed for the winter. Also s smattering of fountains I missed. A reason to come back some year.
