1 year agoNeat bird! It’s not one I’ve seen before, and will have to watch out for next month. I don’t think it’s a bushchat though, because it’s an Asian bird. It took some research, but I think it’s a black wheatear, commonly found in Mediterranean Spain and Northern Africa.

1 year agoSoon! We have to grind our way through two weeks on Mallorca first though, so be patient. When we do get there though we’ll be following a bit different route than you two - we’re going to bypass part of your coastal route by taking the suburban train from Alicante to Murcia and biking down to Mazarron from there.

Oh, too chilly. Maybe later in the day?
1 year agoI hope you complied and took off your clothes!
1 year agoSteve here. You got me. I considered getting off the bike to see and photo the plaque, but did not have the energy. I did figure I might regret it.
1 year agoYeah, baby!

Written words don’t always “say” what is intended.. oops
Sheep have the right of way.
1 year agoNice to have a knowledgeable source. We really enjoyed the ride today through all the interesting rock formations.
1 year agoAgreed. No fear..
1 year agoShare the road, please!
