One to apply the paint, six to blow on it to make it dry faster!

Hi,
Your guess is correct. When I was there in 2019 the wires were still up, but the service had been cut back to le Verdon.

Hi,
PTT means Postes Téléphones Télégraphes or Postes Télégraphes Téléphones, i can’t remember which, but that makes this a government building. We like to sat that PTT stands for « petit travail tranquil « . Looks like the renovation is to turn this into private office space as the A Louer sign might indicate.
Cheers,
Keith

We have been covered in yellow pollen for the past couple of weeks as well. Our glass top table on our deck is completely yellow. I imagine your place is as well.

There was a place in Brittany where EV4 runs a few metres along Plage de Tourony. Soft, not packed sand and down I went just as I thought I should walk that bit. Soft sand and slow speed meant a soft landing, luckily.

This, though, looks like a winter storm buried the path with sand and it hasn't been cleared up yet.

Looks like pretty firm sand.

I was in a rental with a door like this when I was working over in Richmond last year and I was almost late so many days due to the stupid lock!!! 😡

I followed the EV 1 much of the way up the coast once I joined it at Rochefort. I really enjoyed the Marais Poitevin and would do it again. It’s documented here https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/france2019/

Our new home, in North Vancouver, has front door hardware like that. We couldn’t figure out how to lock it and put nonfunctional door lock on the deficiency list during our inspection. I suspect the developer had to explain it 88 times!

In the process of being painted, and/or are the window panels for security?
