Interesting. We had never heard of this spurt, sea walking, hut it is apparently a thing along the coast here.

A.S.R.Y. is more likely Amicale Sportive des Retraités Yonnais, a member of the French Federation of Sports Retirement. The club is based in La Roche sur Yon, about 40 km inland.

It's quite possible the plane was installed to replace something else. It's also quite possible that the carousel includes parts from more than one old ride. We used to take our kids to visit the one near us when we lived in Burnaby--once they were old enough because it goes very fast! A local paper published a story about its history https://burnabybeacon.com/p/cw-parker-carousel-burnaby-village-museum

We liked it also, but had supplies already for breakfast so gave theirs a miss. Michel says Hi to you.

Probably would have been fine, but we were tired and Dodie has occasional balance issues, so the paved no traffic road was a better choice for us.

Good guess, but not how it works. Check out today's post (April 13) for the real method.

Since we are tourists we look for the wow. No time or energy to look for the subtleties that make a place great to live in.

Hi again,
I stayed at the Brit hotel when I was last in Pornic. Lovely staff. I don’t remember the breakfast, though.
Cheers

Hi,
Me! I’ve ridden that section, it was fine. Gravel, yes, but hard packed and level.
Cheers
