It was great to catch up with you two in front of the Cathedral in Santiago and we are so pleased you enjoyed the beer. It was great to meet you as your five or six year tour sort of mirrors ours except rather than use bikes we hike and use busses. We are going to read the rest of your blogs to see if there is anywhere we need to go. Take Care guys on the way to Barcelona

2 years agoWe walked a good part of the Camino backwards and it seemed every 100m or so someone would come out oft their house and tell us we were going in the wrong direction !!

2 years agoThanks for that info Scott. We have seen raised granaries in SE Asia and in Africa but far more rudimentary than these. The crosses on many of them had us wondering but I imagine they are there because Divine help is needed to keep the rats out.
