Love reading your blog and following your adventure. Where are the stats for number of beers consumed?

I love reading about your adventure! Brings back memories. If you want to know more about Lewis and Clark, I recommend “Undaunted Courage,” by Stephen Ambrose. I bought the book in Yellowstone, and couldn’t put it down. (It has since been donated to a library.)
As for lack of potable water, that happened to me twice - both in California. Once the entire city of Mount Shasta had no potable water, and the health dept shut down all the restaurants! The second was last year at a campground in Big Sur. It happens, and adds to the adventure! Glad you are somewhat avoiding the severe weather!

Same here, Deb. I mean, I think we paid a fee for the shuttle but it certainly wasn't $40 a pop, we had a herd of teenagers on rented bikes. That's so sad, because it was a super fun ride on the trestles and through the long, long tunnel.

That looks like fun, not. But what beautiful countryside!

We rode the Hiawatha trail out and back several years ago, but we don't remember being charged for that......how times have changed.

We stored some food in a bathroom in just dry bags once and the mice ate a hole in 2 dry bags...lesson learned....

Looks nice! Mike was right, Cycleblaze confirmation email was in Junk folder; BTW it was quite disturbing going through 5 days of junk emails, the things that are for sale or free… lol

I’m looking forward to your future entries.

Be safe!

Love your writing. Talking about the things I like to hear. Have done a full cross country ride but 2 halves. I assume you will be going thru Minnesota at some point. If you are on the actual Northern Tier route, there is a spot in a little town called Dalbo in central Minnesota that you just should not miss. I am following you, so when you get closer, I will let you know if it's on your route.

Love following along with you guys! Can’t believe you have been gone 12 days all ready! Helicopters have been spraying for mosquitoes in Minnesota!

Sandy, thanks for following us. It is nice to feel connected even though we are so remote. I am glad you got on the river, and it would be fun to boat with you in the future.

I am sad to hear about Robin but I thank you for the update. I’m am sorry we will miss the memorial.
