Happy Birthday Robin, safe travels this week you two. We will be following along! I am sorry to hear you caught Covid in Montreal! And sorry to have missed you. We only spent the night of the 23rd in the city before heading up north for the weekend and then back to New Brunswick. Hope to see you there visiting your daughter the next time or perhaps in France!

Happy Birthday, Robin. I'm looking forward to hearing about the birthday feast, but is a "birthday hotel" night something you want to share publicly?

Hi Genny - We cheated! We ordered those jerseys directly from the manufacturer without doing the ride. It’s hard to find matching jerseys for us so when I saw them on the Voler website I just ordered them. They must have been leftovers!

Hi, I couldn’t help but notice your beautiful Tour of Napa Valley jerseys in your title pics. It is my favorite TNV jersey. How did it happen that you were visiting us and rode the 2018 edition?

Mary and I still wear masks in crowded areas and on public transport.
That virus is going to be around for a long time yet.
Quick release axles are more user friendly than through axle but they are more effective with disc brakes.

Sorry to hear the virus finally caught you, but glad that you’re both back on track for what promises to be a great tour. I look forward to following along as you travel down some of my favorite roads of the past two years. Enjoy!

Sorry you both got Covid! Hope you get feeling better soon. We both got it when we returned to Portland from France last December but got over it quickly.

This looks like such an outstanding itinerary, one I’d love to take. I’m m especially looking forward to seeing what the Jonte Gorge looks like. I’ve lost track for the number of scrapped tour plans I’ve drawn up that went that way and overnighted in Meyruis. Good luck with the weather!

Looking forward to following along and seeing this wonderful area again through your lenses. I’m envious of your ability to start a tour like this with just a short trip from home! Great looking bike too …. and love the name ….. we live in the land of Chinook’s (aka Snow Eater to the native Blackfoot people)
