I remember seeing these in Taroko Gorge years ago.
3 weeks agoFantastic portrait. That bill is such a strange adaptation, apparently to help them manage their snail diet. I can’t think of another bird like it.

1 month agoI don't worry about them too much if they are on my legs. But it's the ones between my toes that are irritating. Unfortunately we're not traveling with closed shoes, only sandals, so the first thing they latched onto were my feet.
