Hi Steve, yes -I think he is a permanent fixture. We've enjoyed reading your blogs very much too. They’ve been useful for trail information as well as a testimony to your adventurous spirit. Bonne route!
2 years agoHoly cow, the guy in the black bathing suit hasn't budged since yesterday!
p.s. I somehow just discovered this blog (your blogs) and I am enjoying it a lot.
Thanks Rich- we still have fond memories of that trip. Let’s hope we can get back to La Belle France before too long!
Cheers, Michael
Great journal! I read every page and enjoyed it thoroughly. Good mix of pictures and text, and I loved the occasional wordplay. Thanks for creating this!
3 years agoYour trip is adding light to my day ! Seems extrodinary that the world can change so rapidly Reading of your slog along the Po reminds me so much of last year - like you we eventually took to the train, just a couple of days past Cremona, we got to the beautiful city of Piacensa before the heat got to us. Hope you are doing well in your bubble and it wont be too long before you will be once more cycling somewhere exciting

Kia Ora Steve, I’ve enjoyed Reading your many cycle adventures too.
