Never heard of a broken QR skewer.

One of our favourite towns. So pretty.

So did we some years ago, but we crossed to the Swiss side and watched the world soccer cup final on a tv set up in a bar.

Better to ride slowly and safely than on a busy road with a smoother surface, we say.

Single scull. Also come in doubles, quads and eights.

Cannot "like" this ! Obviously disaster did not ensue, but it could have done.

Neat! We did read about the museum, but didn't realize you could go ride in the blimps. That would have been amazing

The blimp is from Friedrichshafen, where there is a museum about its inventor, Zeppelin. We never did get to look at the museum even though we have been through there a few times. Sounds like you missed looking at it also. You can, we believe, take a ride in the Zeppelin you saw, although we have never done that either.

Wow, I'd definitely have a hard time on this 60 mile stretch climbing back up into Oberalppass. That's an impressive ride.

Thanks Steve, it's always annoying to just fall over after that first pedal crank, but fortunately at almost zero speed there's little damage to deal with. Just gotta make sure my phone and ego are intact

Thanks Kelly. I do a lot of touring with my Rans Stratus XP too, but it was easier to get the Cruzbike over to Europe and loaded onto the various trains we had to take during our two weeks over there.

It's always nice to see another recumbent on tour.

This is such a beautiful route. We did it the other way round which added to the climbing but loved it. Will enjoy following you

Ouch. Glad your phone, and you, are only minimally the worse for wear.
