1 year agoThanks! Yes there is a trail. We had trouble getting rwgps or googlemaps to route us on it. So in our planning we just used the roads. The trail adds distance and climbing so be aware of that in your planning. It is wel signposted.
1 year agoReally enjoying following along! Thanks for including this, as Sue and I will be cycling in the opposite direction along the Drava in 8 weeks time. Glad to see there's a cycle route!
1 year agoAnother town we loved, when we stayed here 25 years ago. We’ve always meant to go back but somehow have never made it happen.
1 year agoI thought we were at this spot three years ago, but it was the next crossing to the east, at Ormoz: https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/zagreb2020/in-varazdin-west-along-the-drava-0cb/.
The border was closed then due to Covid, but Rachael kept biking anyway because “Unless it’s a bridge out, borders mean nothing to a cyclist”.
I can’t believe you haven’t used it up! When I’m lucky enough to find peanut butter for Scott he finishes it off in a few days and I don’t have any of by choice.
1 year agoFinally!
1 year agoAhh, just barely holding it together
Rachel
Thanks Rachael and Scott, thinking today how fun its been to be on the road "with" you. You guys are such great cheerleaders! See you in Boise soon.
1 year agoYou are sure putting in the miles and in such yucky weather! You both are super tough!
1 year agoGood job!
