My daughter loves Italy.
1 year of college in Perugia (after her first year in London)... Then the last 2 in Rome, where she graduated, and likely would have stayed if it were not for visa limits.

Thanks Scott. Our style is not to lock down things too much, so seeing you guys in Sicily is going to be awesome. Maybe then you'll have some good input for us. We are still doing research on the rest of tour with variations that weather and time will be the determining factors.

Drat, it looks like we will miss each other, but just barely.
Based on my tour itinerary, I will be in Marrakesh Mar 4 and 5, and will be biking to Ait Benhaddou on Mar 6 and to Dades Gorge on Mar 7, arriving the day after you.
I can't change my dates since it's a guided tour, not sure about your flexibility.

We’ve been through the Madonie twice now, and have probably ridden most of the paved roads between Cefalu and Petralia Soprana or Gangi. SS286 is a great ride, but the interior roads are even more spectacular - may be a route through Isnello and the heart of the park. Actually, it’s a little painful to be in Sicily again and not returning here.

This is famous country, by the way. One of my teammates from the office saw where we were going and about fell out of his chair. He’s a race car fan and an amateur racer himself, and he knows all these roads well from watching videos over and over. It’s where automobile racing began. The Targa Florio is the oldest automobile race in the world.

Thanks for that suggestion Scott. Which road would you recommend from Cefalu into the National Park? The main road SS286, or one of the smaller roads?
