Just wow. Looks amazing.
1 year agoHi Keith, that must have been an incredible time and experience!
That is what is special about sharing experiences and photos that bring up in all of us past adventures for all of us.
Nigh on 40 years ago I spent three or four weeks in the Karakorum, doing the field work collecting data for my Master's degree. We worked our way up the Indus River from Peshawar, then eventually crossed over into the Swat River valley. Somewhere along that part of the trek we stayed in Gilgit and Hunza.
Your photos instantly returned me to that adventure!
At least the "trampoline of death" has some jungle...
This, on the other hand.
Rachael has an account on Vimeo. She uploads them there, and uses its export function to create a link that gets pasted into the movie camera icon - similar to how you add maps.

1 year agoWe are hoping that it's ok with everyone/administrator. After reading some other journals that started out with a tour by car before cycling, we figured since we planned this while ending the bike tour it really was still part of the same journey...just at the end instead of the beginning or middle. We will add once home the pictures of your visit!
How do we add the videos that we have of the trek?
We are planning for 2024, late summer another tour starting in Iceland, Faroe Islands Scandinavia to the Northcape and back to Holland.
I look forward to reading about your trekking!
1 year agoBeautiful shot. It’s really lovely on this plant.
1 year agoGood idea. I doubt you’d find many objections if you just kept going with this.
1 year agoBill, could you email us your address to racpat_ rtw at yahoo dot com. We have some Moroccan fossils to mail you. Thanks for following along on our rides.
