1 year agoMonk parakeets, an introduced species (escaped pets) that are becoming a significant issue in Spain because they’re so successfully adapting to urban environments.

I think it is an unending project. Would be nice if they got rid of the cranes.

1 year agoYes, we had tapas of German potato salad, mussels and croquettes! Guiness beer and Irish stew later in the day...quite the international fare. And counting down to our meetup!!

Maybe it’s a nuraghe, but to me it looks like one of the coastal towers built by the Spaniards to defend the island from the Saracens - similar to the Genoese and Pisan towers you see ringing Corsica.
