My tour is off to a great start with wildlife. Flamingos, foxes, including a baby fox, swans, and a peacock. And yes, I saw a snail too. Hope you see something more fun, preferably, not a bear!

What a a beautiful ride! I really love tunnels if I don’t have to deal with cars. I have prescription glasses that darken in the sun but immediately lighten in a tunnel.

The trees are mostly beech and have a beautiful green color.

Gorazde! I remember that time well. We had planned to bicycle from Paris to Athens that fall, by way of what are now Montenegro and Kosovo. When the wars broke out we abandoned that plan and went to New Zealand instead.
