We have found that logging trucks are less likely to move over for us than any other big trucks.

From one Rachael to another Rachel, you are really tough! My legs hurt just thinking of all the passes you’re climbing! I hope you start getting better weather and easier riding. We are starting to get cooler weather on our tour which is nice.

Hi, thanks for sharing, that is what is great about touring and seeing others tours, the memories. Bemidji is the end of the first stage....then we are doing lots of rails trails through Minnesota Wisconsin and Michigan stage two. Stage three montpellier Pa on wabash cannonball trail, picking up other trails and roads to Buffalo by, then erie canal to Albany. Stage 4 through vermont and new Hampshire to bar Harbor maine by oct and flying from Boston to Amsterdam oct 16 for 2 week family visit.back to Boise nov 1st

Looking good kids. These places and passes have such an important place in our early years of touring. We'd start at a friend's house in Penticton and head south to explore more routes in WA. Thanks for sharing! Oh, and Bemiji... is it the last destination on this tour? We spent time in that town in 2017 - headwaters of the Mississippi!

Very fun to catch up on your journal and relive our trip across those passes in 2006. Small world -we know Woody and Marnie. They used to live in Crested Butte, CO. We did a bike tour with them in Italy through BAC. We are currently on the Great Divide Route in NM.
