Hi Marty, Hi Joey,
We are taking the Walpole Island Ferry over to Algonac, Michigan tomorrow! We had a great time in Ontario. Right now we are relaxing in the shade of a back yard in Ridgetown after a very nice lunch! Give Joey a scritch for us! Janet
Assume that you are crossing the Blue Water bridge at Sarnia over to Port Huron. Do not cross at Windsor please. I cycled in Ontario last month and it was just beautiful. Followed a bike trail along the Grand River near Brantford. If you change your route after departing the Ludington ferry Joey and I are waiting for you in the U.P. Its really perfect her now for cycling. Safe travels to all.
5 years agoHi Marty!
We are cycling in Ontario now! We will be in Michigan by Friday. Looks like we will be riding straight across Michigan to the ferry across the Lake and then across Wisconsin. The goal is to get to Lolo Pass before the snow! If we keep heading west we should be fine. Janet
No wonder there are so many smokers up here!

5 years agoFemale snapping turtle. Snappers normally stay in the water, but this time of year, females roam about looking for the perfect spot to dig a nest and lay eggs.
Good picture!
Canadians are very friendly people. Welcome to Pure Michigan as all the blue signs say. I'll be watching your route across my home state with interest. As I recall the Muskegon ferry take a bit longer than the Ludington one so I have never taken it. Take lots of pictures for me and Joey😄🐕
