That looks like a Burmese python. In Florida, an invasive species.

Might be a cooter. Can't tell for sure without better detail of head.

Great blue heron. Common here in Ohio. Once while fishing, one hung around about 10 feet away. I was catching too-small bluegills regularly and tossing them back, when I decided to see if it would like one, so I tossed one about 6 feet away, and immediately, the heron came over and gobbled it up! I did that about 5 more times, and it was finally about 3 feet away when it must have had enough, and flew off.

It's 80 degrees here!!! Beautiful ride today. 10 more to go. Staying with Emma's neighbor's brother and wife. Looking forward to meeting them.

We have temps in the 80s today so out comes the arm protectors snd sun block. Can you believe it? We are sitting in the shade having lunch. Scallops! Yum.
