2 years agoThanks for trail blazing our probable next tour in the spring. We have been half dreaming, half planning a tour of Portugal and Spain and your routing will really be useful. Hope to see you in a month, or so, when we return to Victoria.

2 years agoIt is impossible to see it all, isn’t it? And it is a big old world. We are so lucky to see as much as we do.
2 years agoI agree! We would have ridden into Lisbon, left the bikes and taken the train to Sintra as originally planned, which wouldn’t have given us as much time.

2 years agoThis park was such a surprise to us. Maybe it would be more crowded on a nicer day, but I don’t think so. The vast majority of Sintra tourists have come for the day and probably have a list they tick off, or are on an organized tour - Sintra, Caba da Roca, Cascais. No time to explore.

We did! We love boats and the history in this museum of the Portuguese exploration of the world was amazing. We loved it.
