Great idea! It also applies to Budweiser, so maybe I'll pit them against each other.

Pretty good motto! Send it in as a suggestion to their ad department.

I'm pretty sure I've been here before when visiting my aunts and uncles in Great Falls. This is right near downtown, right? Isn't there an old smelter right there? Philly used to work there when he was a young man.

Mrs. Groovy and I love Montana. Simms and its townfolk are a perfect example of why. Thanks for sharing, Ron. This is the best post I've read all week. I'm jealous of what you and Jen are doing. And your gym accommodations gave me a chuckle. I'm sure you guys had a blast. Safe cycling. Cheers.

NOW you tell me?
Yeah that is ridiculous price for a dirt floor. The main advantage to the KOA was proximity to the route. And free sugar cookies.

$62 for KOA?! I was so outrageous that I asked Google for motel rates in Great Falls. The Super 8, with free breakfast, was $63.

Yes! Getting situated is always amongst the 1st things I like to do when we arrive wherever we stay.

Thanks Sue! The solid support I get from Ron is a big part of what keeps me going. Also wonderful that we met up with Gay, who has such a valuable perspective as a veteran cycle tourist. And the encouragement from family, friends, and readers is also quite awesome!

This day gained you many new adventures
1) Travel began in the pre-sunrise dark
2) Conquered longest ride yet - HOOO WAH for successful 61 mile day
3) Ron may or may not have delivered a calf before sunrise
4) Jennifer preserved the life of a very cute turtle
5) You got to gaze upon asphalt art by Corky
6) Practice Western photography art skills with some of the most beautiful horses I've ever seen; and
7) the 3 Amigos are reunited
What a great day!
Mom and I are just loving reading the journal together. Keep on riding and writing :-)

Hhaha! I hadn't thought about that. It was mediocre at best. I should have gone with my first choice, Black Forest ham.
