Hey Dan,
We've gotten it down to about 10-15 minutes to set up the tent and sleeping gear. It takes longer to break down in the morning.
Most of the campsites have been fine, and some are awesome like this one on the Lochsa.
The KOA in great falls was ridiculous at $63.
I wouldn't say we are tired of peanut butter and bagels, but we welcome the opportunity to eat other stuff sometimes. If there is a cafe in town we usually will eat breakfast there and lunch on our own.
Oh geez, I do know that obnoxious moment when you've reached the top only to find the wind is blowing straight at you so as to make the decent nearly as arduous as the ascent - AARGH! Glad you all made it despite mother nature's best efforts to rebuff your efforts. Congrats on making it all the way to hamburgers and lousy beer.

On another note, I love the first video of the first day. I can only imagine thinking that first day, this is awesome. But, oh my god, what have we done.
I think you'd like Prineville more, some very interesting people living there.
6 years agoI love that the truck is half full. That's not moving! You aren't moving until you have Mickey tying a couch to the roof of the moving van.
