Oh dear Peter things aren’t getting any better. Great that you’re still able to post pics and update your diary progress. I feel your pain through these updates. Hopefully things will improve but look on the bright side, your newly acquired steed is coping well.
1 year agoSounds like you’re having a bit of a rough time, comfort breaks, sleep deprivation and badly timed breakfasts can’t go well on the road. Hope things improve.
1 year agoThe replacement bike will serve you well I’m sure, it may well be a gravel bike but it’s at least 80% road. Best of luck with it, you’re doing so well.
1 year agoNasty looking crack but glad you’ve got a replacement bike

1 year agoHope you’re enjoy the trip so far. A real bugger about the bike frame but good to see you’re up and running again.
1 year agoGood that you managed to get sorted. Looks a nice bike! Grey is a cool colour, same as my new EBike!!

1 year agoPete .
At last I have been able to connect to view your mammoth adventure . It’s quite a read trying to take in all the information, and I feel knackered just reading all your posts. Never mind cycling them !
More than anything, I hope you are enjoying your challenge, and looking at the bike frame in todays post , it just got that bit tougher.
Hope you manage to get it sorted soon,
Keep fuelled up , look after yourself , and enjoy the second half .
Kevin
Sorry to hear about your bike problem Peter! Hope you get it sorted in some way🙏
1 year agoGreat ride Peter, but look after yourself and make sure you fuel-up accordingly.
