2 years agoMore about hammocks...
Way better than a tent. No pressure points when you sleep. Easier and faster to set up. They can be used as a chair or a swing and are usually less bulky than a tent.
Matt's hammock is a ENO Junglenest and mine is an ENO double nest. We use our lightly inflated air mattresses to give us a barrier for the cold. Matt uses a down quilt and I use a sleeping bag at this time. Matt's straps are 16' and mine are 10'.
Hardest thing you will do all day is climb out of hammock, per Matt.
I say it sure beats being sore as heck the next day from sleeping on hard ground.
Two hammock users! That must be a record. Tell us more about hammocks, please.
