Great shot!
5 years agoThe videos certainly give an insight into riding in Palermo - and your mood at that point! Perfect sound track, too! Glad you got home safely!
5 years agoAh, what fun those two were! So adorable and full of energy! Good thing there was lots of room!
5 years agoAnother great adventure ends and I'm already looking forward to your next one! Enjoy Portland!
5 years agoOoops....Classen! My bad!
5 years agoCongrats guys! Reading your blog (and others, Mr. Klassen) has been a wonderful routine that I have looked forward to throughout the duration of your adventure. Thanks for sharing. Always informative, well written and the 'laugh out louds' thrown in there too! What am I going to do when you all finish your trips? Oh yeah.....I will be working on my own. Thanks Scott and Rachel.
5 years agoGreat! We’ll bring the camera and post it in the blog.
5 years agoThanks so much! I found a web article describing swordfish hunting in the Strait of Messina, thanks to you. Certainly a sporting way to fish!
5 years agoSafe travels home !
5 years agoThat’s a felucca and they are fishing for swordfish. Those are spotters in the crowsnest and the harpoonist will spear the swordfish from the long passarella that extends from the bow.
5 years agoBuon viaggio!
5 years agoGreat video of the two boys. In a couple of days Andrea and I will reenact their antics to show you how excited we are to see you again.
5 years agoIt’s a great hat, and wads really well into a pannier. You should get one, and we could set a CycleBlaze trend! I think it’s an orange blaze crusher from Johnson Woolen Mills, but I’m not sure any more.
5 years agoI was laughing at loud with you at the video of the twins! So glad you were able to include that. What a tremendous bundle of energy!
Funny also .. when you were talking about your game of playing your tour in reverse to get to sleep, I was imagining a video of you and Rachael pedaling backwards up one of those big hills. This image will keep me laughing for a few days, I'm sure.
That first video is brilliant! What a perfect solution to fatigue and scary traffic congestion ... Sing!!
5 years agoI vote for a Rachael/Mr. Grumby duet at the next HA gathering.
And to catch on video being passed by a galloping horse??!! That may be a 1-time event for all bike blog videos.
Please tell me this isn't the last post.
