All plants in the mint family have square stems, which is hard to tell from a photo sometimes. Bill?

Twice this trip I have accidentally put on Keith’s thermal tights. They are identical to mine, just way bigger. You want to talk saggy butt? I had saggy from ankles to waist and it took me a few seconds to figure it out each time. Sheesh.

Nope, not hot yet; and for the next several days it looks like we’ll be dodging showers and thunderstorms. On the whole though we’ve been very lucky with weather, especially compared to folks further north. We picked the right time to come to the deep south.

Too late! Out of sympathy for you we ordered up a few days of showers and thunderstorms, starting this morning. I’m so sorry it’s working out this way for you, but at least you’re in a beautiful place to hide out while you wait for your luck to change.

About the only sun Keith and I see is in your blog. Keep up the good weather so we remember what it looks like.

Hi Scott. Yes. It's me! Really enjoying your trip. Your last few days look absolutely amazing. How's the weather? Hot yet? Take Care, Scott.

I am (thinking about it). In combination with Sicily, which I've been thinking about since your previous trip!

Nice of you to say, Jacquie. And if you’re up for something completely different some spring or fall, I’d be thinking abaout Calabria and Basilicata. Wow!

Wow! Looks like a Orchis mascula, a real showstopper of a wild orchid.

Credit to the itinerary planner? Of course!! I've already copied from you for two trips and I know I will again.

Those waves make Depot Bay look like the preschool version of crashing waves.

Wow!

Whoa! Mister O’Hara, I presume? Nice to hear from you on this channel! Did you misplace the apostrophe on your keyboard?

It does look patched together, doesn’t it? And Escher! I hadn’t thought of that, but it’s exactly right. I should have included the next bend, when she’s walking upside down. It took us an hour before we figured out how to escape this loop. The Bermuda Triangle of Basilicata.

Whoa...optical illusions....the framed rectangle on the left looks like it could be a mirror....
