A timely find!
4 months agoI might camp one night at Lochsa Lodge and then make the 66 mile ride to Lowell. Temperatures in the upper 90s the next bunch of days
4 months agoDave—Great to meet you at the summit on your way to Sula! Your story of perseverance through hip replacement and broken bones was inspiring.
I was thinking about your concern of the leg from Missoula to Kooskia. I believe that going east to west you can make it from atop Lolo Pass to Kooskia pretty easily in one day. The first 6-8 miles from the summit are steep, the remaining miles are a steady but gentle downhill. Anyway, best of luck!!
Ahhhhhh, bet that felt great on tired muscles!
