4 months agoI'm going to annoyingly point out that the pines are on the east side of this pass but you are now in Doug fir country. And yes, it's a downhill paradise.

Dave, You are pedaling toward an incredible accomplishment...on an absolute basis and just amazing on an age/injury/obstacle basis.
That's an odd profile- very choppy yet very rounded. I think your GPS must have been struggling to cope, somehow.

My botany skills are poor so thanks for you comments. As I have ridden cross country a few spots stand out. The eastern side of McKenzie pass through the forest is one of the most beautiful
