5 months agoKansas is nearly flat, probably did 1,000 feet of elevation across 60 miles
Weather has been in the high 70s, great for biking. I have been drinking a lot of water to stay hydrated
Your elevation chart shows huge hills. In Kansas?
Also, it shows 100F. Is it brutally hot? Be careful. As I’m sure you know, heatstroke can kill. Sneak right up on you.

5 months agoIt is a bit monotonous but quiet and no cars. In my case I had little choice since my plan was to head south from Clinton to re-intersect the Transamerica
