Good idea to have the Pilot Rock school band to be on a big flatbed trailer, so they didn't have to dodge the horse crap. :)
1 year agoYea, that would have been nicer for the dance studio group to be in FRONT of the horses, so they wouldn't have to dodge the horse crap!

1 year agoI remember you mentioning that guy, but I never got any info.
Bacchetta Bikes in Florida shut down. The company restarted in California, but had to completely rebuild their supply chain. 1 year wait times for frames and everything else custom made such as seat mesh assemblies and seat packs. The mesh I just bought will last until I'm 75 years old if I continue to ride the Giro 20 about 1000 miles per year.
I'm content with the High Desert Rivers theme, a big loop around the Yellowstone supervolcano. Going to Yellowstone would add too much climbing and the lodging is probably booked up a year in advance.
1 year agoCody is the only area that this route revisits. I also thought about revisiting Red Lodge but decided to skip the 2000 foot climb.

Wow....those goathead vines and thorns are quite prolific, huh?! Yikes! :/ I'm sure that there are some that get in the roadway too (vs. being on the side of the road).
