Glad your tour was a success. We are in the Spanish Pyrenees at the moment. We are not riding dirt but fantastic infrastructure. Check out Sant Llorenç de Monrunys. There seems to be lots of mtn trails maybe you can link them up with some roads too. The views are phenomenal. Although there is a lot of climbing. Have fun planning.

Hi Keith,

I guarantee she will get even more muddy in the future. :-)

I'm just happy to be excited about riding again.

I have two Surlys and I have a dog. I also have a secret love for riding on dirt. In that vein, I wish you success in finding all the dirt you can handle on this TOUR . . . and yes . . . I can call it that.

And already suitably muddied!

A trailer can do the job as far as carrying stuff goes. (I recently started a thread singing the praises of my trusty old B.o.B. Yak one-wheel cargo trailer, which is my go-to when I'm riding the C&O Canal on my mountain bike.)

Pro tip: consider reorganizing the wheels so that the one with the gears is at the back of the bike. It'll fit better and the chain won't get all messed up each time you turn the handlebars. :)
