Yuk, yuk.
3 years agoThanks Susan - I’m looking forward to another great visit
3 years agoWhat a great tour of Manhattan. In the 1940s my mother worked at the National Biscuit Company building on the High Line. The building was inscribed with NBC on one side, which it was called before they changed to Nabisco. A train used to go right into the building. It’s one of the two buildings the High Line goes through. Did you walk through that part?
Happy cycling tomorrow!
Oh the bluest blue of sky that day.

Maybe we’ll cross paths this fall in Europe. I’m heading over in September with plans of crossing the Alps - twice!!!

3 years agoHi Scott. The plan is to get to Buffalo the evening Sat Jun 12 and depart on the Erie Canal Trail Monday morning the 14th. It depends on me making it Albany on Sat in time for the 1 pm train to Buffalo, and no Amtrak snafus.
3 years agoLooking forward to your trip. I have one in my back
Oh very similar to this, only it’s westbound from Manhattan to buffalo, with ongoing service to Erie and Pittsburgh before heading back to Georgia.
I don’t mind the snakes, but I do worry about ticks. I wonder if it has cut down on the hiking traffic in this part of the world.
