6 months agoBeautiful!
6 months agoGlad you enjoyed Ronda and had time to walk around.
6 months agoThanks Scott. The lighting was critical as we were told 5-6pm was the key time for photos right now👍
6 months agoLove the lack of cars!
6 months agoGreat shot of this bridge, better than I ever got. The lighting from this side looks much better.
6 months agoThe first big climb is always a nail-biter, no matter how much training we've done. This one did not disappoint. We had big grins in our faces.
6 months agoHi Joy, we will compare notes when we are back home. Pitched into the river from horse? Oh no! I hope you weren't too badly injured. Andalusia is far exceeding our expectations. We are in the cycle touring groove now and loving every minute of it.
6 months agoThank you! I do recall studying these in Biology many moons ago.
6 months agoAnd so, much to your liking, the climbing challenges begin! Andale!
The whitewashed village houses are so delightful! David’s shots do them justice.
Glad you made it to Grazalema and had a good dinner. The ride in sounded intense, the hiking around there wasn't a picnic either! Hope you continue to find more dinners like that and hopefully some better breakfasts. Happy cycling!
6 months agoI was holding my breath, wondering if you would make your train connection! Yikes!
It seems so unbelievable that most of the major attractions require advance bookings these days!
Thanks for a great first day tour of Madrid & especially the museum with historically relevant art! 💗
6 months agoHi from Granada. I’ve thought of you often during our ride from Ronda to Los Barrios mostly in the national parks with stops in ‘de La Frontera’ white towns. A slower trip than yours, given we’re on horseback - but isn’t the countryside beautiful - and aren’t the flowers wonderful? And every time I saw cyclists I hoped we’d encounter you and Dave. But we’re done — I’ll tell you about pitching into a river because my horse slipped and fell, when we’re both back home. If you’re heading south, stay at Castillo de Castellar de La Frontera and ask for Room 101 - it has ten windows overlooking Gibraltar and the whole landscape of southern Spain!
